Megan & Devin Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse June 30th, 2012
Lovely, sweet, smart, funny, sensitive, kind, endearing, thoughtful, easy going…some of the ways I use to describe this couple. Megan and Devin came to see me back in May and they “had me at yellow, white and grey” So many reasons to fall in love with these two, not the least of which was their choice of colour palette.
Megan asked that the bouquets for her girls be representative of their personalities, above was for her friend who was “80′s crossed with a bit of punk rock” and below for her other bridesmaid who is “romantic, soft and all pearls”
The bouts for the Devin and his groomsmen, were so much fun!
Sea Cider was the venue once again, we used a beautiful and rustic combination of yellows, whites and gorgeous little grey green succulents everywhere! One of the inspirations for the palette was Megan’s love of craspedia, those little yellow balls. They had a staring role in vintage bottles.
Last but certainly not least was THE most FANTASTIC guest book idea I have ever seen. Devin was the creative force behind this and how much fun! A clothes line of course! With little paper t-shirts and pants to write the wishes on. Genius I say, pure genius!
Thank you Megan and Devin for asking us to be a part of your day. It was with great pleasure and an absolute honour that we came together with you and your families today. Can’t wait to see the pictures from Lara Eichorn, they are going to be fantastic!
